One of Bodog Sportsbook’s most popular Major League Baseball betting games is back along with the “boys of summer” as players can take advantage of Free Bet Friday again in 2011.
It’s pretty simple to play – winning is up to your baseball knowledge! Every Friday throughout the MLB season, Bodog will be giving one lucky Bodog Facebook page fan or a Bodog Twitter follower the chance to win a $20 MLB Free Bet.
To get things started, make sure you have a Bodog Sportsbook account. Then become a “fan” of the Bodog Facebook page. If we have to tell you what Facebook is, then you’ve been asleep in a cave for at least five years. Every Friday, Bodog will pick a game of the week on that Facebook page. Then followers make their pick on that game on both the moneyline and the over/under on the total runs scored. For example, today the game of the week is the Philadelphia Phillies at the Atlanta Braves in a matchup of the two best teams in the NL East and two 2010 playoff clubs.
And it’s a great pitching matchup, featuring Philly’s Cliff Lee and the Braves’ Tim Hudson. We list Philadelphia at -120 and Atlanta at EVEN with the runline at 8. So as a comment under the game of the week, choose either team as well as over/under 8. If you get both right, you win a $20 free baseball bet at Bodog. To collect, simply email your Bodog Sportsbook account number and full Facebook name (everything remains anonymous) to baseball@bodog.com and we then credit the $20 to your account in about 24 hours.
For players also on Twitter, it works a bit differently. Those of you who list the @bodog account in their following on Fridays (it’s denoted as #ff) go into a drawing to win one of two $20 free baseball bets we will give out each week. The only caveat on both the Facebook and Twitter Free Bet Friday game is that a person can only win a total of twice during the season (you can win twice on either Facebook or Twitter or once on both).
